Overview
We\āre looking for a motivated Facilities Assistant to join our team at our head office in Steeton, West Yorkshire. This role is crucial for maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. You will be a key player, providing cover and support across various departments with a strong focus on Reception duties and Housekeeping/Cleaning support.
Type of contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £12.35 P/H
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 1pm ā 5pm (20 hours)
Holiday Entitlement: 28 days per year (including bank holidays)

Key responsibilities
- Reception: Act as the welcoming face of the company by greeting visitors, managing the signāin process, and professionally answering and transferring incoming calls.
- Housekeeping Support (Adāhoc Cleaning): Assist the housekeeping teams with general, adāhoc cleaning and tidying of the office environment and communal areas to maintain a high standard of presentation.
- Facilities Management Support: Proactively support the Facilities Department in the daily management and upkeep of the buildings and facilities.
- Facilities Administration: Respond to emails, raise essential orders, and complete general administrative tasks efficiently.
- Health & Safety: Be observant for H&S issues, ensuring they are rectified, made safe, and promptly reported to management.
- General Support: Respond to facilities issues in a timely manner and be flexible in shift patterns to cover colleague absence.
- Any other duties as assigned by the facilities manager that relate to maintaining the facilities in a clean, functional and aesthetically pleasing state.

- Administration experience
- Excellent communication skills
