Removal Engineer

We’re seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our Installations Department as a Removal Engineer, with the potential to progress into an Installations Engineer role.

This hands-on position involves the careful removal of stairlifts from customers’ homes, delivering high standards of service while supporting our commitment to quality, safety, and customer care.

Salary: £12.25p/h (Paid Flat 40 hours) PLUS Removal Bonus of £10 for each Straight Lift Removal and £10 for each lift Curve Removal (Aim of Minimum 5 Jobs Per Day)

Working hours: Monday to Friday (Flexible to suit business needs)

The role consists of:

• Safe and efficient removal of stairlifts from customers\’ homes with care and attention to detail.
• Collection of equipment from our headquarters prior to site visits.
• Customer-facing professionalism, ensuring a polite, courteous, and respectful presence at all times.
• Travel and occasional overnight stays required, offering variety and the opportunity to work in new locations.

What do we offer?

The successful candidate will have:

• A full clean driving licence
• Mechanical or Installation background would be advantageous but not essential
• Must be honest, reliable, and have the ability to communicate on different levels
• Willingness to travel, including working away from home as needed.
• A Criminal Records Bureau check will be carried out on the successful candidate
• Must be able to display the Acorn Values
