We are currently looking for a Business Development Agent to join our UK Partners - Telesales Department based at our Headquarters in Steeton (West Yorkshire, UK). The purpose of this role is to build, develop and strengthen relationships between Acorn Stairlifts and our business partners. Type of Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £13.20 P/H (+ commission OTE £1200 per month)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm. 1 in 6 Saturdays on rota.

Key Responsibilities:
- Working towards a weekly/monthly KPI which includes generation of leads, revenue and new business.
- Being the main telephone contact/liaison for all our UK Partners.
- Working with Partners to develop and generate leads and sales for ourselves and the Business Partners.
- Making outbound, taking inbound calls from UK Partners and their customers.
- Actively promoting the company, products and services to our UK Partners, displaying the highest level of product knowledge at all times.
- Identifying old and new business accounts that have scope for development and setting out a relevant business plan to increase growth within these accounts.
- Ensuring that the internal database and partner accounts are kept up to date and are accurately maintained, including any purchase orders and invoicing so commissions are paid within a timely manner.
- Ensuring that all sales referrals are dealt with accurately, input onto the database and all relevant updates are given to our UK Partners on a regular and timely basis.
- Quarterly external onsite partner visits for ongoing training to support the business and help to promote the programme.
- Understanding the market and competition to increase the business potential within your partners and to identify missing opportunity through effective account management and research.
- Liaising with Internal Sales, Internal Trade contacts and all relevant departments/colleagues within Acorn Mobility.

- Excellent Communication skills

- Previous business to business experience (advantageous)
- Previous sales experience
- Excellent team player
