Acorn Safety Services is seeking an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join our growing safety consultancy team. In this role, you’ll carry out fire risk assessments, audits, and fire door inspections across a variety of commercial and domestic sites. You’ll be responsible for producing clear, practical reports and advising clients on how to stay compliant with fire safety regulations. This is a full-time employed role with structured working, national travel, and company support.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conduct fire risk assessments at client sites across the UK
  • Review fire safety documentation and procedures
  • Produce written reports and risk assessment documents
  • Provide up-to-date fire safety advice based on current legislation
  • Ensure reports are returned within 10 working days

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 2 years’ experience in fire risk assessments
  • IFSM membership (or willingness to apply)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
  • Comfortable with national travel and occasional overnight stays
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
