We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our client as a

Sheet Metal Operative, working in a friendly and supportive environment.

What We Offer

  • £30,000-£35,000 salary based on a 40-hour week.
  • Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.
  • Overtime available at flat rate during the week.
  • Saturday overtime paid at time and a half.
  • Friendly and supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret technical drawings to manufacture sheet metal parts and components.
  • Use a variety of tools and machinery, including CNC, press brakes, rollers, guillotines and punching machines.
  • Measure and cut sheet metal accurately according to specifications.
  • Check the quality of finished products, ensuring they meet high standards.
  • Work efficiently and independently to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Set and operate CNC press brakes, working to tight tolerances.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator is essential.
  • Experience with CNC-controlled brakes.
  • Experience folding stainless steel, galvanised, aluminium and steel is preferred.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Passion for sheet metal fabrication.
