We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our client as a
Sheet Metal Operative, working in a friendly and supportive environment.
What We Offer
- £30,000-£35,000 salary based on a 40-hour week.
- Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.
- Overtime available at flat rate during the week.
- Saturday overtime paid at time and a half.
- Friendly and supportive working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings to manufacture sheet metal parts and components.
- Use a variety of tools and machinery, including CNC, press brakes, rollers, guillotines and punching machines.
- Measure and cut sheet metal accurately according to specifications.
- Check the quality of finished products, ensuring they meet high standards.
- Work efficiently and independently to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Set and operate CNC press brakes, working to tight tolerances.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator is essential.
- Experience with CNC-controlled brakes.
- Experience folding stainless steel, galvanised, aluminium and steel is preferred.
- Great attention to detail.
- Passion for sheet metal fabrication.
