Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in Willand, who are looking to add a skilled Maintenance Engineer to their on-site engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent, days-based role with consistent working hours and excellent overtime rates in a stable manufacturing environment.
Key Duties:
- Carry out routine and preventative maintenance on factory equipment, including conveyors, fans, bearings, chains, and sprockets.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently to minimise downtime.
- Perform repairs and parts replacements as required.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Provide occasional training and support to other team members.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a mechanical maintenance or engineering role.
- Strong hands-on mechanical skills, ideally within a medium to heavy industrial environment.
