Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Calibration Technician for a leading manufacturer based in South Molton. This is an excellent opportunity to join the aerospace manufacturing sector, offering full training, ongoing development, and the potential for permanent employment.
This role would suit someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys hands-on technical work, and takes pride in producing high-quality, accurate results.
Key Duties- Ensure equipment is safe for operation and calibrated to industry standards.
- Monitor and control the correct storage and administration of gauges.
- Support internal and external customer gauging and calibration demands.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date calibration records.
- Practical experience implementing lean office techniques.
- Metrology skills with knowledge of BS EN ISO standards.
- Experience calculating tolerances for gauges.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft packages.
- Knowledge of British Standards.
- High attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Formal training in a related role is advantageous.
Monday to Thursday: 8am-4:45pm. Friday: 8am-12pm.
