Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Material Handler Operator to join a client's busy scrap metal operation in Scunthorpe.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator with experience in scrap metal or recycling environments to secure ongoing work with a reputable employer. An immediate start is available.
What We Offer
£27 per hour on Saturdays.
Ongoing support from Acorn by Synergie throughout your assignment.
Key Duties
- Operate material handling machinery, such as Sennebogen, Fuchs or Liebherr machines.
- Safely move, sort and process scrap metal and recycling materials.
- Carry out daily checks and basic maintenance on machinery.
- Work as part of a team to meet site productivity targets.
- Follow site safety procedures and maintain safe working practices.
Requirements
- Valid NPORS or CPCS qualification for wheeled 360 excavator operation.
- Proven experience operating material handlers in a recycling or scrap metal environment.
- Ability to work safely and follow site procedures.
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work Saturdays.
Shift Pattern
Days: Monday-Saturday.
You can work six days per week or take one weekday off while working every Saturday.
