Production Operative
Barnstaple | £12.71 per hour | Day Shift: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 3:30pm & Friday 7:30am - 1pm
Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Production Operative based in Barnstaple. This role involves assembling a range of products across multiple areas to maximise output while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Duties
Assemble products following established procedures and standard work instructions, meeting productivity and quality standards.
Set and operate machinery in accordance with established procedures.
Continually review products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Read and follow drawings, routings, and ISO procedures to meet time and quality requirements.
Maintain a clean and tidy working environment to the company's 5S standard, minimising hazards and protecting tooling and gauges.
Utilise all personal protective equipment and safety devices to maintain personal and team safety.
Train other operators as experience increases.
Undertake other reasonable duties as required for effective business operation.
Requirements
Numerate, able to follow written instructions, and have reasonable literacy skills.
Previous experience within a manufacturing organisation preferred but not essential.
