Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Building Support Assistant to join Newton Abbot Library. This role supports the day-to-day running of the building, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for visitors and staff.
Key Duties
- Provide excellent customer service and assist members of the public.
- Carry out minor maintenance and repair tasks such as basic fixtures and painting.
- Maintain cleanliness of indoor and outdoor areas, including waste management.
- Support the handling of challenging situations, including antisocial behaviour.
- Assist with the smooth day-to-day operation of the library building.
