APSS Ltd is looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager / Contracts Manager to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established business delivering high-quality commercial interior fit-out and refurbishment projects across the UK. Since 1997, we have helped clients transform offices, retail spaces, industrial units, education environments and healthcare facilities through innovative design and expertly delivered fit-out solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Work closely with sales, design, commercial and contracts teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams throughout each project
- Attend client, design and site progress meetings
- Coordinate and manage the design process, ensuring accurate and timely issue of project information
- Carry out site surveys and scope fit-out / shell works requirements
- Oversee site health & safety compliance and implement company procedures
- Ensure direct labour and subcontractors deliver works to programme, specification and quality standards
- Procure subcontract packages, materials, plant and labour
- Support commercial management, including valuations, interim accounts and final accounts
- Prepare construction programmes and project schedules
- Maintain quality, environmental and health & safety standards across all projects
- Deliver an excellent finished product and positive customer experience
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in commercial fit-out, interiors, refurbishment or construction project management
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Commercial awareness and cost management experience
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
