Lead Technical Excellence and Influence How We Deliver Critical Services. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a senior, high-impact role where your technical expertise will shape how services are delivered, managed, and continuously improved across the business. As Technical Services Manager, you will be the driving force behind technical standards, compliance, and best practice. You’ll work at the centre of operations, guiding teams, influencing decisions, and ensuring the safe and effective management of complex and critical building systems.

Location: Slough (with travel to client sites)

About The Role: Reporting into senior leadership, you will provide technical oversight, governance, and leadership across multiple disciplines including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC services. You’ll lead discipline managers, support operational teams, and ensure that all services are delivered safely, compliantly, and to the highest possible standard.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading and supporting discipline managers across electrical, HVAC, and other building services areas
  • Setting and maintaining technical standards, procedures, and best practices
  • Overseeing high-risk assets such as pressure systems and cooling systems, ensuring robust risk management and compliance
  • Providing expert technical guidance to operational teams on complex challenges
  • Monitoring compliance, certifications, and audit readiness across sites
  • Supporting the mobilisation of new contracts and providing technical input into proposals
  • Driving continuous improvement, innovation, and consistency in service delivery
  • Providing clear technical reporting and insights to senior leadership

What We’re Looking For: We are looking for a confident and experienced technical leader who brings both depth of knowledge and the ability to influence and guide others.

  • A strong background in building services engineering across multiple disciplines
  • Experience in a senior technical or engineering leadership role
  • Proven ability to manage or lead technical teams
  • A solid understanding of compliance, regulation, and high-risk asset management
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills
