About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Scheduler to join our growing operations team. This is a key role within the business, ensuring that engineers are scheduled efficiently and client call-out requirements are met to the highest standard. You’ll be responsible for coordinating planned and reactive works, optimising resource allocation, and supporting engineers to deliver excellent service while meeting contractual SLAs and KPIs. This role would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced, service-led environment and enjoys problem-solving in real time.

Location: Slough

Salary: up to £29,500

Hours: 37.5 per week (Shift patterns: 7:00am–3:30pm & 9:00am–5:30pm)

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive mechanical and electrical works
  • Optimise engineer schedules to maximise productivity while maintaining service quality and compliance
  • Act as the main point of contact for scheduling queries from engineers and internal stakeholders
  • Manage out-of-hours call-out rotas, overtime, holiday and sickness cover
  • Maintain accurate records within the CAFM system (Concept Evolution), including raising ad-hoc tasks
  • Monitor schedules in real time and adjust as required to respond to emergencies or priority work
  • Ensure KPIs and SLAs are met, escalating risks or capacity issues where necessary
  • Liaise confidently with engineers and colleagues via phone and email

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a scheduling, planning or coordination role within an operational or service-driven environment
  • Experience within mechanical and electrical services is desirable
  • Confident using CAFM systems (Concept Evolution experience is a strong advantage)
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Calm under pressure, proactive, and solutions-focused
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
