Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join our Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated engineer to become part of a professional, supportive business that values technical expertise, customer service and career development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, fault‑finding and repair of a wide range of commercial air conditioning systems, ensuring a high standard of service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Location: North and North West London

Salary: up to £45,000

Hours: 41.25 per week (Opportunity to work overtime)

The Role

As a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault‑finding and repair of commercial air conditioning systems across a range of client sites throughout West and North West London. Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on commercial air conditioning systems.
  • Diagnosing faults and undertaking repairs on a variety of HVAC equipment and controls.
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry regulations and best practice.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and site contacts.
  • Working closely with Acorn's helpdesk, administration and management teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Producing clear and accurate service reports and recommendations for remedial works.
  • Keeping Contracts Managers updated on job progress and site requirements.
  • Participating in an out-of-hours emergency call‑out rota.

About You

  • Proven experience within the Air Conditioning or HVAC industry.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial air conditioning systems and associated controls.
  • Excellent fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
  • Health & Safety training.
  • Previous experience in a mobile engineering role.
