Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, fault‑finding and repair of a wide range of commercial air conditioning systems, ensuring a high standard of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Location: North and North West London
Salary: up to £45,000
Hours: 41.25 per week (Opportunity to work overtime)

The Role
As a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault‑finding and repair of commercial air conditioning systems across a range of client sites throughout West and North West London. Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on commercial air conditioning systems.
- Diagnosing faults and undertaking repairs on a variety of HVAC equipment and controls.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry regulations and best practice.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and site contacts.
- Working closely with Acorn's helpdesk, administration and management teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Producing clear and accurate service reports and recommendations for remedial works.
- Keeping Contracts Managers updated on job progress and site requirements.
- Participating in an out-of-hours emergency call‑out rota.
About You
- Proven experience within the Air Conditioning or HVAC industry.
- Strong knowledge of commercial air conditioning systems and associated controls.
- Excellent fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
- Health & Safety training.
- Previous experience in a mobile engineering role.
