Job Description
We are currently recruiting a dynamic and detail-orientated Policy Intelligence Analyst.
This individual will be responsible for screening and investigating adverse policies identified through our counter fraud platforms. You will be working closely with our validation function, underwriting, pricing, and counter fraud to support group fraud prevention and investigation.
Role: Policy Intelligence AnalystLocation: Liverpool City Centre (Hybrid)Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm, 37.5 hours per weekSalary: Between £26,000 and £31,000 DOE plus £1500 annual bonus potential achieved quarterly
What you will be doing:
- To screen quotes and policies for fraud concerns
- Confident in presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Contribute to the continued improvements of our counter fraud platforms
- Identification, Investigation & Prevention of policy fraud; with a focus on the intelligence cycle
- To assist in the promotion of data integrity across the business
- Provide continued feedback of both fraud rule sets and risk models
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies regarding TCF, GDPR and FCA regulations
- Help maintain and extend the Intelligence professional relationships with intelligence suppliers, professional bodies and law enforcement agencies
What we’re looking for:
- Knowledge of insurance and underwriting is essential
- Knowledge of fraud or financial crime screening and counter fraud platforms is desirable
- Demonstrable understanding of compliance and law within the financial service sector
- Ability to work as part of a team with effective communication and analytical skills
- Personally energetic, dynamic, positive, enthusiastic with the ability to think laterally and act through reasoned decision making
- IT literate and have a strong understanding of Office based software, primarily Microsoft Excel
- Be reliable and accurate in all activities undertaken
- Good time management and organisation skills & the ability to consistently deliver against timescales and deadlines set
