We’re looking for a Product Lead who is passionate about growing strong digital product teams and solving complex problems for insurance customers. In this role you’ll be responsible for improving conversion and engagement for our customers, while managing and growing a team of Product Owners. You need to have a passion for leading people and building products that help us delight, retain, and add real value for our customers. Ideally, you will have previous experience in regulated industries, such as payments, fintech or insurance.
You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, marketing, and the wider digital team to create simple and impactful solutions. Success will be measured by the impact you and your team have on customer acquisition conversion and retention across our portfolio of products. We have a roll-up-your-sleeves culture and you’ll be directly responsible for shipping key initiatives as a product manager.
What you will be doing:
- Lead the roadmap for conversion and engagement across web and mobile.
- Mentor and grow a strong team of Product Owners including their skills, initiatives and how they add value to the business.
- Establish and lead a smooth product development process that helps us clearly define value and prioritize backlogs.
- Develop a strong understanding of how our business grows and how our customers think – use this to propose new initiatives that improve conversion and retention.
- Partner with Digital Director and business stakeholders to define, build and ship new digital initiatives that deliver against quarterly business growth goals.
- Lead and support the product owners to prioritize and execute against the planned roadmap.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Clearly track and communicate progress across your area regularly, ensuring full transparency and communication with the wider team.
We are looking for colleagues who are:
- 5+ years of experience as a product leader with experience growing digital products and journeys through iteration and experimentation.
- Strong focus on conversion and growth for B2C products or services.
- Experience managing a digital team and developing their skillset.
- Experience building and executing a product roadmap for scaling products.
- Strong analytical skills and mindset. Experience with BI and analytics tools.
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to create strong partnerships across the business.
- Strong background in regulated industries, payments, fintech, or insurance.
- Experience managing the end-to-end product lifecycle and delivering products from scratch.
- Clear understanding of growth principles and frameworks across both transaction-based and subscription-based models.
