Acorn are currently looking for a Junior Project Manager to support the Project Managers in administrative tasks, scheduling, documentation, and coordination of project activities. This is an exciting role where you will be able to coordinate events and work with stakeholders throughout projects. The Junior Project Manager must be able to drop into a project where scope, goals, costs and timelines have been established and support the achievement of said goals within the expected timeline, while effectively reporting on progress throughout the project life-cycle.

What you will be doing:

  • Assist in project planning, scheduling and admin.
  • Maintain project documentation and update project registers.
  • Keep RAID logs up to date and visible to all stakeholders.
  • Support communication between project teams and stakeholders.
  • Track project deliverables and follow up on assigned tasks.
  • Attend and contribute to daily stand-ups.
  • Organise meetings, take minutes and prepare suitable status reports.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to deal with challenging issues and provide the right outcome for the business.

  • Basic understanding of project methodologies such as Prince 2 and Agile.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Monday.com.
