Do you want to join a rapidly expanding company that puts the customer at the heart of every interaction? We are looking for a self‑motivated Data Protection Analyst to support the Data Protection Team in Liverpool on a hybrid basis.
Location: Liverpool (hybrid working)
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
Responsibilities:
- Provide considered and practical advice to the business on data protection matters
- Respond to data subject rights and erasure requests
- Maintain documentation and records, identifying trends and analysing data
- Assist business change projects with privacy by design and risk consideration
- Carry out compliance monitoring reviews to assess operational compliance with data protection law
- Develop and update policy documentation and related practical guidance
- Stay up to date with changes in legislation, industry news and guidance
- Participate in working groups to provide ongoing support across the organisation
- Support training and awareness of data protection practices and principles
- Undertake any additional tasks defined by the DPO to meet operational needs
- Contribute to meeting the Data Protection Team goals and ensuring compliance with internal policies
Qualifications:
- Understanding of GDPR regulation and data protection principles (training will be provided)
- Practical experience in developing and implementing business processes and procedures
- Ability to apply a range of research techniques to gather relevant information
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer‑facing experience
- Drive and determination to deliver high‑standard work
- Ability to plan, organise and manage time effectively
- Keen eye for detail
- IT literate and proficient with Microsoft Office and related applications
