We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join our part‑time salaried GP team in Twickenham, covering 4 sessions per week over two full days (Wednesdays and Fridays). The practice serves a patient population of just over 8,000 patients and may offer increased hours in the near future.
Main Duties
- Conduct surgery consultations, telephone consultations, and home visits.
- Prescribe and manage repeat prescriptions using computer‑generated systems.
- Record clear, contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards.
- Make autonomous professional decisions for presenting problems.
- Assess health care needs, screen for disease risk factors, and provide health education.
- Create and update care plans for patients.
- Provide triage support, make referrals, and liaise with the admin team.
- Participate in staff and clinical meetings.
Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate in medicine recognised by the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Completed a two‑year foundation course in general training.
- Completed specialist training in general medical practice.
- Possess a two‑year GP trainer qualification is preferred.
- Completed an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
