Mobile Commercial Boiler Engineer
Location: Southeast and London
Salary: Competitive dependant on skills and experience.
Hours: 41.25 per week and opportunity to work overtime.

You will be looked after by your own team of dedicated people who understand your needs.
Responsibilities:
- To undertake planned preventative maintenance, servicing and repair works across various contracts.
- To regularly and effectively communicate with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors in order to maintain and develop excellent relationships and ensure smooth operation of the business.
- To provide boiler/combustion servicing and repair works across various contracts.
- Maintain low pressure boilers, high pressure boilers, power boilers, steam boilers and hot water heating systems.
- Replace defective valves, filters, or steam gauges.
- Monitor boiler systems to ensure it is operating safely and properly; facilitate periodic boiler cleaning.
- Address any problems with boiler systems and notify maintenance when needed.
- Contact relevant manager concerning potentially dangerous equipment or safety violations.
- Undertake planned preventative maintenance, servicing and repair works across various contracts in accordance with relevant legislation.
- Liaise with internal Acorn helpdesk and administration teams to create a collaborative and successful support function.
- Attend to call outs during normal working hours and in addition will be part of the out-of-hours emergency call out rota.
- The individual will be expected to organise their work and time efficiently and to work supportively within a team.
- Punctual site attendance, well-presented wearing relevant PPE and clothing.
- Completing and submitting clear, concise and accurate reporting for works carried out and any further work required.
- To be in regular communications with the Contracts Managers on the relevant job progressions.
Competencies:
- Knowledge: Knowledge of Combustion systems, HVAC plant (i.e. A/C, boilers, controls, heating and cooling systems, ventilation), building services, understanding of Legionella, understanding of overall Health & Safety.

- OFTEC qualification
Personal Qualities/Skills:
- Valid driving licence
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.

- The ability to work on your own or as part of a team and make calculated assessments of breakdowns.
