At Acorn, we've been delivering market-leading engineering and compliance services across London and the South East for over 40 years. We provide mechanical, electrical, HVAC, fabric maintenance, water treatment, gas and electrical services to hundreds of commercial properties.
We're now looking for an experienced Mobile Building Services Engineer to join our growing team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across a range of commercial sites
- Maintaining HVAC systems, heating and cooling equipment, ventilation systems and associated plant
- Working closely with clients, subcontractors and internal support teams
- Completing service reports and maintenance documentation
- Attending emergency call-outs as part of a rota
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with industry standards
- Building strong relationships with customers and delivering excellent service at every visit
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical or Building Services Engineering background
- Experience working on commercial building services equipment
- Knowledge of HVAC systems including boilers, air conditioning, controls and ventilation
- Understanding of Health & Safety and Legionella compliance
- City & Guilds Mechanical Engineering qualification (or equivalent)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team
