We are seeking an experienced and driven Lead Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of technical delivery, lead a team of engineers, and play a key role in shaping engineering standards and best practices across the business. This position also supports the Contracts Manager in delivering exceptional service to clients, while ensuring our engineering workforce is well‑supported, effective, and aligned to business objectives. It is an opportunity for a hands‑on leader who enjoys solving complex problems, mentoring others, and driving high‑quality engineering services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
- Support the Contracts Manager in delivering exceptional service to clients
- Ensure the engineering workforce is effectively managed, supported, and performing at a high standard
- Take ownership of system architecture, design decisions, and technical roadmap
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Drive best practices in quality, safety, performance, and compliance
- Act as a senior escalation point for technical and operational issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement across processes, systems, and service delivery
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Engineer in a relevant environment
- Strong technical background in relevant disciplines/technologies
- Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills

Package & Benefits
- Salary: up to £50,000 depending on experience plus overtime and callout
