To work as a mobile engineer within the Electrical Services Department. This role would suit an individual that can work using their own initiative and have a proactive approach to undertake all tasks required, a conscientious and reliable team player and someone who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Location: London and Southeast England

Responsibilities
To carry out planned preventative maintenance in accordance with current legislation & maintenance programmes.
Ensure engineering standards are maintained in order to maximize the operation effectiveness and reliability of the plant and associated systems.
To assist with EICR’s within commercial properties
To carry out annual emergency light testing
To carry out electrical compliance tasks as per SFG-20
To diagnose & rectify faults on various electrical systems within commercial installations
To complete minor works installation’s & issue NICEIC Certification
To communicate regularly with the electrical admin team to maintain and develop excellent professional working relationships within the business.
To work supportively within a team
To complete accurate paperwork including logs & certifications
To submit clear, concise and accurate task sheets and reports (with photographs) in support of works carried out, with clear recommendations for any further work required.
To assist where needed in carrying out surveys for quoted works
Ensure company & site, health & safety procedures are followed at all times
Flexible working may be required (night time works)
Any other reasonable instruction requested by management
Qualifications & Skills Required
Knowledge
Knowledge of electrical installation works within commercial properties
Knowledge of electrical testing and certification requirements within commercial properties
Ability to fault find electrical faults within commercial properties
Experienced in annual emergency light testing
Understanding of day-to-day tasks as per SFG -20
Qualifications
Fully qualified electrician – City & Guilds 2360 (or equivalent) & NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent (Ideal not essential)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
AM2
IPAF (Ideal not essential)
PASMA (Ideal not essential)
Personal Qualities/Skills
Valid driving licence
Good communication and time management skills
Sound Judgment and examples of logical problem solving
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook.
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated
The ability to work on your own or as part of a team
Keen to learn and help when needed.
