Package & Benefits

  • Location: London and the South East
  • Salary: up to £55000 depending on experience plus overtime and callout
  • Hours: 41.25 hours a week

Responsibilities

  • Undertake planned preventative maintenance, servicing, and repair works across various contracts.
  • Provide boiler/combustion servicing and repair works, including low/high-pressure boilers, steam boilers, and hot water heating systems.
  • Replace defective valves, filters, or steam gauges.
  • Monitor boiler systems for safe operation and facilitate periodic cleaning.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors to maintain excellent relationships.
  • Liaise with internal teams for smooth job progression and attend call-outs during normal hours and as part of the out-of-hours rota.

What We Are Looking For

Competencies & Knowledge

  • Combustion systems and HVAC plant (A/C, boilers, controls, heating/cooling systems).
  • Building services and Health & Safety awareness.
  • Understanding of Legionella compliance.

Qualifications

  • CCN1, CEN1 (E), CODNCO1, OFTEC qualification preferred for Engineers.
  • Improvers should have a commercial tickets for at least 2-3 years.

Personal Qualities

  • Valid driving licence.
  • Good communication and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
