We are recruiting a building services fabric technician to support the day‑to‑day maintenance and presentation of Bicester Village. This is a hands‑on role, working as part of the Technical Services team to deliver planned preventative maintenance and reactive fabric repairs across a high‑profile retail destination. You will work closely with internal teams and external contractors, ensuring the Village is safe, well‑maintained and presented to an exceptional standard for customers, brands, and stakeholders.

  • Salary: up to £35,000 depending on experience plus overtime and call‑out
  • Hours: 40 hours a week

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance across the estate
  • Internal and external painting works as required
  • General building works including carpentry, minor plumbing, paving and repairs
  • Support promotional installations and general property maintenance activities
  • Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety legislation, HSAW and company policies
  • Close and update completed PPM tasks on the CAFM system
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, housekeeping and personal presentation
  • Assist with coordinating specialist subcontractors when required
  • Participate in team duties and respond flexibly to emergencies and call‑outs if required
  • Attend training, meetings and take responsibility for ongoing professional development

Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • Time served apprenticeship in carpentry (or relevant trade)
  • Minimum 2 years’ post‑apprenticeship experience
  • Experience working in a multi‑disciplined maintenance or facilities environment
  • Comfortable working at height and using powered access equipment
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive, team‑focused attitude
  • High attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work

Desirable

  • Additional trade background or multi‑skilled experience
  • Health & Safety or safety management training
  • Full UK driving licence
