About The Role:
Riseley Green School is looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join our team, supporting pupils with autism (ASC) and complex needs. You’ll help create a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive and achieve their potential.
As a Teaching Assistant, You Will:
- Support pupils’ learning through tailored classroom activities and one-to-one engagement.
- Prepare learning materials and assist in lesson delivery.
- Promote wellbeing, independence, and confidence.
- Assist with outdoor learning experiences and off-site activities.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver consistent, high-quality support.
Your ability to build trust, provide stability, and encourage curiosity will make a real difference to the pupils in your care.
About You:
- Adaptable – able to support pupils in a range of classroom and outdoor settings.
- Empathetic and patient – responsive to individual needs with care and understanding.

- Committed to safeguarding – prioritising the safety and wellbeing of all pupils.
- Experience working with children or young people with autism or complex needs is desirable but not essential.
