Rota: Mon & Tue: 8:15am–4:00pm | Wed & Thu: 8:15am–3:30pm | Fri: 8:15am–2:45pm

About The Role

As a Teaching Assistant at Bramfield House School, you’ll help pupils build confidence, self-esteem, and the skills they need to thrive. Working alongside committed teaching staff, you’ll play a key role in creating a calm, inclusive, and purposeful learning environment where every pupil feels supported and understood. Whether you’re working one-to-one, supporting small groups, or helping to prepare engaging learning activities, your contribution will matter every single day.
You Will:
- Support teachers to deliver learning that is adapted to each pupil’s individual needs
- Help pupils develop independence, confidence, and positive social skills
- Provide targeted SEN or subject‑specific support to help pupils reach their potential
- Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing, and engagement with learning
- Work closely with colleagues across education and care to ensure a consistent, nurturing approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils in the classroom and during transitions, breaktimes, and lunchtimes
- Deliver one-to-one or small group interventions as required
- Communicate effectively with colleagues regarding pupil progress, wellbeing, and individual needs
Essential Requirements:
A full UK driving licence is required for this role.
