We are seeking a Damp and Timber Surveyor to join our team. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while growing within a trusted industry leader.

Role Summary

As a surveyor, you will play a vital role in assessing properties, recommending necessary works, and building strong relationships with our customers. This position requires experience, technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a results-driven attitude to help expand Acorn Damp Proofing\'s reach and reputation in the South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and Wakefield areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough property surveys to assess damp, timber, and waterproofing issues.
  • Provide expert recommendations for solutions, using your technical knowledge to identify necessary treatments.
  • Liaise with clients, managing accounts and providing exceptional customer service throughout the process.
  • Drive sales by promoting and selling the company\'s products and services with confidence.
  • Collaborate with internal team members, site operatives, suppliers, and manufacturers.
  • Act as a technical advisor for all aspects of damp proofing, timber treatment, and waterproofing solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards, Acorn\'s processes and industry best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in damp proofing, timber treatments, below-ground waterproofing, and condensation solutions.
  • ; CSSW certification (advantageous).
  • Strong work ethic and customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisive recommendations.
  • Adept at managing relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in using surveying tools and software
  • Full, clean UK driving license.
