About the Role: Are you passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives? Manor House School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.
Responsibilities:
- Support pupils’ learning and personal development, promoting confidence, resilience, and positive relationships.
- Deliver tailored learning experiences under the guidance of teachers.
- Assist with classroom organisation, lesson preparation, and small group interventions.
- Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
- Track pupil progress, maintain records, and communicate effectively with staff and parents.
- Uphold safeguarding policies and promote pupil welfare.
- Take on additional responsibilities to help the school thrive.
Who We’re Looking For: We are seeking someone who is patient, flexible, and genuinely cares about supporting young people to succeed. You will bring energy, empathy, and a “can-do” attitude to help every pupil feel valued, supported, and inspired to learn.
Essential Criteria:
- GCSE Grade C (or above) in Maths and English.
- Willingness to undertake training and professional development.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Understanding of safeguarding and SEN principles.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to making a real difference in pupils’ lives.
