Location: Robins Way School, Amesbury, SP4 8JT

Salary: ÂŁ22,160.62 per annum (not pro rata)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent; Term Time Only

Start: January 2026

Robins Way School, part of Acorn Education, is a new and exciting specialist school in Amesbury. We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of young people.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to pupils with autism and complex needs. Your work will include helping students engage with learning, supporting their emotional regulation and social development, and assisting with both classroom and outdoor learning activities. Your role will involve working closely with teachers, therapists, and specialists to ensure every child’s individual needs are met. Each day will bring new challenges and opportunities to make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with autism and complex needs
  • Assist with delivering engaging lessons and creating learning resources
  • Support pupils’ emotional regulation and social interaction
  • Participate in outdoor learning and real‑world experiences
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and professionals
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other specialists to support each child’s individual journey
