Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver to join a busy manufacturing business on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence who are looking for long-term, full-time employment with an immediate start. You'll play a key role in supporting production by ensuring materials are loaded, unloaded, and moved safely throughout the site.

Key Duties

  • Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
  • Offload deliveries and store goods correctly.
  • Issue raw materials and packaging to production teams.
  • Load and unload vehicles as required.
  • Support manufacturing operations with the movement of materials.
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards, ensuring work areas remain safe, clean, and organised.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.
  • Previous experience in a similar FLT, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing role.
  • Ability to work a rotating day and night shift pattern.
  • Reliable with a strong awareness of health and safety.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Available for an immediate start.

Hours & Pay

  • 4 days on / 4 days off / 4 nights on rotating shift pattern.
  • Day shifts: 6am-6pm.
  • Night shifts: 6pm-6am.
  • £13.06-£13.66 per hour.
