Our client specialises in buying excess, surplus or overstocked new and unused passive and active electronic components. These include Semiconductors, ICs, Diodes, Transistors, Capacitors, Memory and Microprocessors.
Job description and responsibilities:
- Receiving incoming deliveries, checking goods against paperwork and recording discrepancies.
- Precise recording of electronic component part numbers and counts.
- Detailed visual quality inspection using a microscope camera.
- Repackaging goods for despatch, from small parcels to multi-pallet shipments.
- Completion of international freight documentation.
- Regular communication with account managers.
Skills required:
- Full training will be given, but you must be able to work unsupervised.
- Must have excellent IT, administrative and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.
- We are looking for an individual with an eye for detail, someone precise and conscientious.
- A reach & counterbalance forklift licence would be an advantage, but is not essential.
