Finance Accounts Assistant | Finance Assistant | Accounts Administrator

Truro | £26,000-£28,000 depending on skills and experience | 35 hours per week | 5 days | Permanent

Introduction

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to work from our Truro office, as part of our Finance Team and in collaboration with other departments.

Part-time hours, with a minimum of 25 hours per week over a 5-day week, may be considered.

Key Duties

Manage payment queries from internal teams and directly from Members.

Manage and handle payments, direct debit instructions and refunds of insurance premiums.

Make calls to Members to discuss late or missing payments.

Process invoices and set up purchasing and claims payments.

Handle and prepare for banking all monies received in accordance with agreed company procedures.

Complete bank reconciliations.

Requirements

Previous experience working in Accounts.

Strong attention to detail.

Excellent customer service, administrative and organisational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.

Flexible and solution-driven.

GCSE Maths at grade 6 or above.
