Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Transport Team Manager to oversee a busy transport operation in the Plymouth area. This is an excellent opportunity for a transport professional who enjoys balancing operational responsibility with people leadership. You'll take ownership of day-to-day transport activities, helping to drive performance whilst maintaining high standards of compliance, safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a transport team to deliver operational and service objectives.

Requirements
- Previous experience managing teams within a transport, logistics or distribution environment.
- Strong understanding of transport legislation, compliance requirements and operational best practice.
- Proven ability to motivate and develop teams, recognise success and deliver results within a busy operational setting.
- Experience managing service performance through KPIs and operational metrics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organisation.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to inspire and engage others.
- Commitment to delivering a safe, compliant and customer-focused operation.
- Passion for transport operations and team development.
Desirable Experience
- CPC qualification or relevant transport management certification.
- Experience managing commercial fleet operations.
