Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator to join a growing manufacturing team within a bespoke vehicle fit-out business in Exeter.
You'll be responsible for setting up, programming and operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality components to precise specifications. This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative business offering long-term career prospects, ongoing training and a supportive team environment.
- Set up, programme and operate CNC machinery.
- Create and modify CNC programmes using VCarve software.
- Inspect components and monitor quality throughout production.
- Install and maintain tooling and machine fixtures.
- Support assembly and welding activities when required.
- Maintain accurate production records and ensure compliance with all health, safety and quality procedures.
Previous CNC machining experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Experience setting up and programming CNC machines.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, numerical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience using VCarve software.
- Knowledge of plastics manufacturing or injection moulding.
- Welding or fabrication experience.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
