Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Material Control Operative to join a busy warehouse and logistics team in Thornbury. This is a varied warehouse-based role offering full training and long-term opportunities for candidates with previous warehouse experience and strong attention to detail.

Shift Pattern & Pay:

  • Monday to Friday rotating shifts: 06:00 - 14:00, 12:00 - 20:00
  • £13.91 per hour
  • Overtime paid at premium rates

Key Duties:

  • Receive, check, and book in materials against delivery notes
  • Pick and issue materials for production, instruments, and marketing
  • Carry out accurate stock picking and warehouse duties
  • Support weekly inventory and stock management activities
  • Assist departments with stock and non-stock queries
  • Produce commercial invoices
  • Carry out PAT testing duties following training
  • Complete manual handling tasks safely and efficiently

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse experience essential
  • Counterbalance and Reach Truck experience beneficial
  • FLT licence preferred but not essential as training can be provided
  • Good computer and system skills
  • Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Willingness to learn internal systems and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Own transport required due to location if not local to Thornbury
