Assist with the preparation of detailed infrastructure and civil engineering designs. Produce technical drawings and design information using CAD software. Support the delivery of highways, drainage and development infrastructure projects. Work with engineers, clients and external stakeholders to support project delivery. Attend project meetings and site visits to develop technical understanding and industry knowledge. Assist with the preparation of technical reports and supporting project documentation. Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Previous exposure to civil engineering or infrastructure projects through employment, placements or internships. Experience using AutoCAD 2D, with 3D advantageous but not essential. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Enthusiastic approach to learning and professional development. Knowledge of highway and drainage design principles. Experience using Civil 3D, Site 3D, PDS, InfoDrainage or similar software. Understanding of UK infrastructure design standards and guidance, i.e. Manual for Streets and Sewers for Adoption. Full UK driving licence.
