Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Senior Project Estimator to support the Project Management and Sales teams by delivering accurate estimates, quotations and pricing while ensuring excellent customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator, Construction Estimator, Shopfitting Estimator or Project Estimator to join a growing business offering hybrid working, an annual bonus and genuine career progression opportunities.

Key Duties
- Act as the main point of contact for Project Managers, Sales Teams and Site Teams regarding pricing and estimating.
- Prepare accurate quotations and cost estimates for customer enquiries.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure quotations are completed within agreed timescales.
- Produce Bills of Materials from drawings and Excel spreadsheets.
- Call off equipment from technical drawings.
- Discuss quotations and final accounts with clients and Quantity Surveyors (QS), providing additional information where required.
- Maintain and update customer schedules of rates and pricing information.
- Prepare and issue final accounts accurately and on time.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve the best value within budget.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements and company procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C) or equivalent, including English and Mathematics.
- At least 2 years' experience within shopfitting, construction or a similar industry.
- Previous experience in an estimating, sales support or customer service role.
- Experience within a joinery company would be advantageous.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
- Ability to read and interpret technical and construction drawings.
- Strong understanding of estimating, costing and pricing processes.
- Excellent communication, organisational and negotiation skills.
