Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Stores Person for a well-established and busy manufacturing client in South Molton. This is an excellent opportunity to secure full-time work with the potential to transition to a permanent position.
Working Hours
- Monday - Thursday: 8am - 4:45pm
- Friday: 8am - 12pm
Key Duties
- Issue parts against the appropriate material requests.
- Receive and check components against incoming documentation, maintaining full traceability.
- Assist with the physical movement of parts into and out of the stores area.
- Issue and despatch transfer orders to other warehouses.
- Carry out regular stock checks as required by company procedures.
- Ensure all stock complies with company procedures at all times.
- Use the appropriate company procedures and computerised stock control system.
- Conduct cycle counting as required.
Requirements
- Previous stores experience, ideally within aerospace or another tightly regulated environment.
- Experience using a computerised stock control system, ideally involving MRP.
- Numerate and literate with good attention to detail.
