Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Senior Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established industrial maintenance team in St Austell. This is an excellent opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor, Engineering Chargehand or Senior Engineer who is ready to take the next step into a leadership or chargehand role while remaining technically involved in the day-to-day maintenance of industrial plant and equipment.
You'll help lead the engineering team and ensure plant and equipment are maintained safely, reliably and efficiently.

Key Duties
- Supervise and support the engineering team.
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on industrial plant and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
- Support plant reliability and reduce downtime.
- Coordinate maintenance activities and prioritise work.
- Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Provide hands-on technical support when required.
- Help ensure plant and equipment are maintained safely, reliably and efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a multi-skilled engineering or maintenance role.
- Experience working with industrial plant or fixed equipment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Previous experience leading, supervising or coordinating engineers.
- A practical, hands-on approach to maintenance.
- Strong focus on health and safety.
- Experience within manufacturing, quarrying, mining, aggregates, chemical, food production or other process environments would be highly relevant.
