Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced HR Manager to join a leading global manufacturing business based in South Molton. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Manager, Human Resources Manager, HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or People Manager with a strong manufacturing background to join a well-established global manufacturer. Working as part of the site leadership team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping people strategy, driving employee engagement, supporting operational leaders and delivering a high-performing HR function within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Duties
- Partner with the site leadership team to deliver strategic and operational HR support.
- Lead, coach and develop the on-site HR team.
- Drive employee engagement, performance management and organisational development initiatives.
- Manage complex employee relations cases, providing expert HR advice and guidance to managers.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding and talent acquisition activities to attract and retain skilled employees.
- Support succession planning, workforce planning and capability development.
- Manage compensation, benefits and performance review processes.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law, HR policies and best practice.
- Promote a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.
- Support health, wellbeing and occupational health initiatives.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an HR Manager within a manufacturing environment (essential).
- Strong generalist HR experience supporting operational and manufacturing leaders.
- Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Proven employee relations, coaching and stakeholder management experience.
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing HR teams.
- Degree in Human Resources or equivalent qualification (CIPD desirable).
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and HR systems (Oracle experience advantageous).
