Acorn by Synergie is working in partnership with Honeywell in Yeovil, Somerset and have opportunities for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on full-time basis starting as soon as possible. The role will involve Mechanical Design Engineer of Aerospace equipment, the position holds the following responsibilities: Designs, develops, and tests all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery. Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc. May be involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products. May require a bachelor's degree in engineering and related experience and able to show proven capabilities in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Works under immediate supervision. Range of shifts available and some flexibility to work away form site Monday to Thursday (07:00 to 15:30) & Friday (07:00 to 12:00) £35.00 to £45.00 per hour Inclusive of shift allowance and depending on experiences
