Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is working in partnership with Honeywell in Yeovil, Somerset and have opportunities for a Fitter / Wireman /Tester to work on a full-time basis starting as soon as possible. The role involves Fitter / Wireman /Tester of aerospace equipment and manufacturing parts to aerospace specifications while maintaining high-quality standards.
The position of the following responsibilities:-
- Producing product to engineering drawings and instructions
- Mechanical fitting and testing of Life Support and Environmental Control Systems equipment
- OCQ - Operator Control of Quality
- To achieve on time delivery by ensuring work is completed on time and to the required standard
- Interpreting engineering drawings, following the process layout and documentation procedures
- Working effectively in a Lean Environment
Requirements:
- Engineering Apprenticeship (Desirable but not Essential)
- Knowledge of mechanical fitting applications
- Knowledge of pressure testing
- High standard of Health & Safety
- Adhering to Company Processes & Procedures
- Working in a Customer-focused environment and achieving targets
- Working with Designers and Engineers
- Aerospace wiring experience soldering to J standard
- Crimping to IPC processing
What We Offer:
- Pay £18.99-£19.54 per hour depending on experience and shift
- Days
* Days Monday to Thursday (07:00 to 15:30) & Friday (07:00 to 13:00)
- Opportunity to work within a technical aerospace environment.
