Taunton, Somerset | £12.71-£13.75 per hour DOE | Monday-Friday | 35 Hours per Week | Permanent | Immediate Start
Introduction
We are currently recruiting for a Lab Technician to join a small, friendly team within a production environment in Taunton.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience working with chemicals who is looking to develop their skills within a technical and hands-on role.
What We Offer

Key Responsibilities
- Clean, test and etch small components and assemblies.
- Handle chemicals safely, including bulk handling of materials up to 25kg.
- Follow production processes and work instructions.
- Work in line with Health & Safety and COSHH requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Work as part of a small team to meet production requirements.
- Carry out tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with chemicals, preferably within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Experience handling chemical materials, including weights of up to 25kg.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Ability to follow detailed processes and instructions.
- Reliable, flexible and positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small team.
