Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Slinger / Signaller to join a large commercial construction project in Bridgend. Working alongside a telescopic forklift operator, you will be responsible for the safe slinging and signalling of underslung loads, ensuring lifting operations are carried out efficiently and in line with site safety requirements.

Key Duties:

  • Sling and signal underslung loads safely and efficiently.
  • Work closely with telescopic forklift operators during lifting operations.
  • Ensure all lifting activities comply with site health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate clearly with plant operators and site personnel.
  • Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
  • Follow site procedures and lifting plans.

Requirements:

  • Valid CPCS or NPORS Slinger / Signaller card.
  • Previous commercial construction site experience.
  • Good understanding of lifting operations and site safety procedures.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
