Job Description Senior Product Designer | Retail Fit Out Designer | Product Design Engineer | CAD Designer | Design Engineer\n \n Swindon, Wiltshire | £38,000-£40,000 per annum + Bonus | Permanent | Monday-Friday | Hybrid (3 Days Office / 2 Days Remote) | International Travel \n \nIntroduction\n \n Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Senior Product Designer / Retail Designer to join a growing design team based near Swindon, Wiltshire . \n You'll be responsible for developing practical, cost-effective product designs from initial briefs through to detailed manufacturing drawings and prototypes, working closely with clients, suppliers, contractors and internal project teams. \n International travel is required , so applicants must hold a valid passport and full UK driving licence. \n \nWhat We Offer\n \n \n £38,000-£40,000 per annum , depending on experience. \n Annual bonus. \n Permanent, full-time opportunity. \n Hybrid working: 3 days office-based / 2 days remote . \n Office based near Swindon, Wiltshire . \n Opportunity to work with high-profile international retail brands. \n Collaborative and supportive design team. \n International travel opportunities. \n Ongoing professional development and career progression. \n \n \nKey Duties\n \n \n Produce accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings in line with project requirements. \n Create detailed manufacturing drawings suitable for contractors, suppliers and manufacturers. \n Produce complete technical drawing packages covering all relevant design requirements. \n Use Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks to develop detailed product designs. \n Liaise with buying and project management teams throughout the design process. \n Develop client briefs, confirm requirements and communicate design proposals effectively. \n Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients, suppliers and subcontractors. \n Maintain drawing registers, issue sheets, CAD files and associated documentation. \n Ensure CAD files and design documentation are accurately maintained and organised. \n Report regularly to the Design Studio Manager regarding workload, priorities and project progress. \n Support other designers and internal teams with design, printing and file management requirements. \n \n \nRequirements\n \n \n Product Design qualification or equivalent experience. \n Previous experience within product design, retail design or a similar technical design environment . \n Experience using AutoCAD 2D/3D and/or SolidWorks . \n Proficient in Microsoft Office. \n Ability to manage multiple projects and meet agreed deadlines. \n Full UK driving licence and valid passport essential due to international travel requirements. \n \n If you're a Senior Product Designer, Retail Designer, Product Design Engineer, CAD Designer or Design Engineer looking for your next opportunity in Swindon , apply today with your up-to-date CV or contact Kristy at Acorn by Synergie for more information. \
