Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a POS Display Senior Project Manager with a proven track record within the shopfitting industry. The POS Display Senior Project Manager ensures retail projects under their control are delivered on time, to design, within cost budget and to customer satisfaction. The role establishes and builds long-term customer relationships that deliver future business and acts as the main point of contact for communication between customers and internal teams. The successful candidate must have a full driving licence and passport and be happy to travel abroad and locally.

Key Duties:

  • Customer
    • Act as the main point of contact for the customer.
    • Build and establish good working relationships.
    • Develop an understanding of the customer, their business and future potential.
  • Planning & Project Management
    • Produce specific work programmes for clients and subcontractors.
    • Progress contracts on site to ensure quality and programme deadlines.
    • Ensure work is completed to design and specific customer requirements.
    • Communicate effectively with project and internal teams.
    • Identify and address issues affecting project delivery through clear communication to all parties.
    • Attend and hold 'B' and 'C' Team meetings as required for each project under your control.
    • Ensure project files are managed and kept to company standards.
    • Ensure a PC Certificate is completed for every project.
    • Prepare weekly project reports.
  • Surveys & Quotations
    • Produce accurate site surveys.
    • Complete breakdowns of information from working drawings and specifications.
    • Ensure working drawings and specifications are produced into accurate customer quotations.
  • Administration & Finance
    • Raise Purchase Orders to suppliers and subcontractors.
    • Approve all supplier invoices.
    • Raise all invoices relating to projects.
    • Ensure project information and system integrity.
    • Operate within company financial procedures.
    • Ensure all variations are documented and signed for by the client.
    • Ensure all invoices and final accounts are raised within 2 weeks of completion.
    • Monitor costs against budget.
  • Health & Safety
    • Ensure company and customer legal obligations on site are met and maintained through on-site audits.
    • Ensure Health & Safety surveys are completed prior to jobs starting.
    • Ensure the production of H & S and O & M Manuals with internal and external bodies for all projects.
    • Ensure Form 202 is completed at every site visit.
  • Development
    • Liaise with the Design Team on new or amended equipment.
    • Share and document improvements to client working practices.

Requirements:

  • Full driving licence.
  • Passport.
  • Willingness to travel abroad and locally.
  • Proven track record within the shopfitting industry.
  • 5 GCSE grades A/B or O Levels.
  • Other Building or Construction qualifications would be an advantage.
  • 3 years' previous experience in shelving, shop fitting, building or a similar background, preferably in a Project Manager role.
  • Ability to interpret conceptual and working drawings into bills of materials.
  • Understanding of costs and margins.
  • Computer software systems and building control regulations are a requirement.
