Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a modern, busy, and growing manufacturing organisation for a Semi-Skilled Parts Deburring Operator.
We are seeking candidates with a strong mechanical background who are looking to develop their career within a precision engineering environment.

- Key Duties
- Use hand tools such as files, scrapers, and emery paper to remove burrs and smooth component edges.
- Operate power tools including die grinders and pneumatic sanders to achieve required surface finishes.
- Set up and operate mechanical deburring equipment, including vibratory tumblers, rumblers, and other specialised machinery.
- Ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently.
- Visually and physically inspect components against engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ensure parts meet required tolerances and quality standards.
- Prepare components for downstream processes such as anodising, coating, plating, or painting.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and finish.
- Record completed work and report any non-conforming parts.
- Maintain accurate production records.
- Adhere to 5S standards and maintain a clean, organised work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience within manufacturing, engineering, assembly, deburring, finishing, or mechanical environments.
- Strong manual dexterity and excellent hand‑eye coordination.
- Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
