Acorn by Synergie is recruiting experienced Production Operatives / Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join a busy manufacturing and warehouse facility in Dunkeswell, near Honiton. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience as a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, FLT Driver, Forklift Operator, Warehouse Operative, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Yard Operative, or Factory Operative to secure a long-term temporary-to-permanent role with excellent rates of pay, regular weekday shifts, and weekends off.
Please note that a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence is essential, along with your own transport due to the location.
Key Duties- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) safely and efficiently within a busy manufacturing and warehouse environment.
- Load, unload, move, and store raw materials and finished goods.
- Supply production lines with materials to maintain continuous production.
- Remove bags from racking and feed materials into the manufacturing process.
- Clean Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) ready for reuse.
- Connect and disconnect IBCs as required.
- Build pallets and prepare products for storage or dispatch.
- Complete production and warehouse paperwork accurately.
- Carry out manual handling and general production duties as required.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain high housekeeping standards.
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT, NPORS, or equivalent).
- Previous experience as a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, FLT Driver, Forklift Operator, Warehouse Operative, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, or Factory Operative.
- Experience working within a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or production environment.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work to production targets.
- Comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Own transport is essential due to the location.
- £15.47 per hour.
- Overtime available.
