Acorn Recruitment is currently recruiting for Yard Operatives to join one of our well-established manufacturing clients in the Newport area. This role would suit candidates from a general labouring, yard operative, hospitality, warehouse or physically demanding background. No previous production experience is required, although it would be advantageous. Our client is looking for enthusiastic individuals who are willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties:
- Use heavy-duty tools and machinery.
- Work with metals.
- Work within a production environment.
- Use FLTs where required.
Requirements:
- Ability to remain on your feet throughout the shift.
- Ability to undertake heavy lifting duties.
- Experience using power tools and heavy-duty machinery.
- Experience using pump trucks, pallet trucks or FLTs would be advantageous, although no licence is required.
- Ability to drive.
- Willingness to wear PPE.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
What We Offer:
